The heartbeat sfx and narration were from an educational medical LP record of faulty heartbeats made to help doctors identify heart problems in their patients. The other sounds were probably triggered using an early digital delay rack unit with sample-and-hold function triggered by a Korg Poly-800 synthesizer I'd rented from Long & McQuade in Toronto. I multi-tracked it on a Tascam 244 Portastudio 4-track tape deck rented from the same music store, mixed it down to a stereo master, and sent it off to Belgium to be part of the cassette revolution.
